Live-in Jobs in Los Angeles and San Jose

Roommates at Jay Nolan form relationships with the people they are supporting. It is more than a job; it is a journey of listening, understanding, and forming close bonds with  people who quickly become like family.

Looking for a meaningful live-in job that makes a difference in someone’s life? Become a roommate at Jay Nolan Community Services. Roommates are responsible for providing individualized support, assistance, and instruction to assigned individuals within the Supported Living program. This includes adults with a diagnosis of autism or other developmental disability who own or rent their own homes and wish to live independently from their family.

However, being a roommate is more than just a live-in caretaker job. It is a relationship based on mutual trust and understanding. By focusing on teaching skills necessary to live safely in the home and the community, roommates offer assistance only when it is required. Overnight roommate positions are available in Los Angeles, the San Fernando Valley, and San Jose areas.
