FAQ: 

1. Where do I park for the event?

There is free Parking around the Crystal Springs Picnic Area (4663 Crystal Springs Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90027). If coming from the north: Head south on Crystal Springs Dr., then turn left onto Fire Road. Turn left after passing the Griffith Park Visitors Center and follow the red signs for the Picnic in the Park.  If coming from the south: Head north on Crystal Springs Dr., then turn right onto Fire Road. Turn left after passing the Griffith Park Visitors Center and follow the red signs for the Picnic in the Park.

2. Do I need a ticket to join? 

No, you do not need a ticket. This is a free community event. Come by and bring your friends and family. All are welcome!

3. Will there be food provided at the event?

Yes, we will be serving free tacos and other Southern California favorites, including churros and elote.

4. How long is the event?

The event is scheduled for 2 hours, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm EST.

5. If the weather is bad will the event still take place?

Yes! The Picnic in the Park will be happening rain or shine. We can’t predict this year’s weekend rainstorms, but we will be happy to welcome you even under some drizzle!

6. Where do I go to check in?

We will have check-in tables along the walkway between the parking lot and the picnic area near the main restrooms. Please sign in to receive your wristband to get some food!
