New Year’s Greetings!
It is a new year! It’s that time of year when we not only look forward, but we also look back and reflect on where we have been. Throughout the challenges of 2020, we have continued to deliver on the mission of Jay Nolan Community Services, striving to ensure every individual is empowered, included, and embraced.
With 2020 in the rearview mirror, and new year unfolding before us, I am enthusiastic about the future of Jay Nolan Community Services. Despite the continued challenges presented by the pandemic, we have persevered in our mission to change the world, one individual at a time; contributing to the beauty of our community. With all of you partnering with us, we will continue to deliver on our promise to the people we serve. We are committed to supporting each and every individual in their own pursuit of happiness.
As I begin my third year as CEO of Jay Nolan Community Services, I am grateful and excited about how we have weathered the unprecedented challenges of 2020, AND how we will thrive in 2021! Our vision and mission has been put to the test, and it has proven that no matter what may be going on around us, person-centered services delivered with respect and dignity for the uniqueness of every individual is the best way to contribute to the wholeness of a community.
With vaccines becoming available, with new skills learned out of necessity, and with determination rooted in love for one another, 2021 will present many opportunities for a better more inclusive community for us all. Let us grab hold of those opportunities
We each have the power to be an encouragement to another human being. The legendary musician Bob Marley, puts it this way for us, “The greatness of a man [or woman] is not how much wealth he [she] acquires, but in his [her] integrity and his [her] ability to affect those around him [her] positively.”
Thank you for your support and commitment to Jay Nolan Community Services and its mission. May 2021 be filled with blessings and opportunities for you.
Edward Amey, CEO
