In 1975, parents from the Autism Society of Los Angele founded Jay Nolan Community Services to create better opportunities for their children. Since these humble beginnings, Jay Nolan has pioneered services that are truly customized to each individual’s needs. In the early 1990s, Jay Nolan became the first organization in California to transition people from group homes to their own homes under the visionary leadership of the former Executive Director, Jeffrey Strully. Today, we provide a comprehensive range of individualized services, such as Adaptive Skills, Employment Services, Supported Living, and Self-Determination services. Our commitment includes supports for individuals who come from multilingual backgrounds or are deaf and hard of hearing, ensuring services are personalized for all.
