In Loving Memory of Ann Laferty Snowhook

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear friend Ann.

Ms. Snowhook is a retired mathematician and was a researcher at UCLA-NPI for 15 years. An active community volunteer, Ms. Snowhook was a founding member of H.O.M.E. Other volunteer positions include the Willie Ross Foundation for the Deaf Developmentally Disabled, Easter Seals for Southern California, United Autism Alliance and the Marian Homes for the Developmentally Disabled.

Ann was an active JNCS Board Member for 45 years from 1975 to 2020. She was loved and will be missed by all here at Jay Nolan Community Service.

Marina is the Communications & Marketing Supervisor at Jay Nolan Community Services. Her role includes outreach and spreading awareness of the mission of the organization through storytelling, social media, and other online communications efforts. Marina is a lifelong learner and holds as a Bachelors degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and an Masters degree from Leiden University in the Netherlands.
