Finding Independence

December 21, 2021

Empowered by her Jay Nolan supports, Juanita has created an independent life where she can do the things that she likes, without constant supervision or anyone telling her what to do. Her mother cannot be more pleased. Juanita lives in a home of her own and is surrounded by a community that knows and cares about her. Now, when she goes out, instead of being asked “Where are you going?” and “What are you doing?” she is asked “how are you?” and “¿Cómo estás?”
