Grateful Greetings from Executive Director Edward Amey

November 15, 2019

Grateful Greetings!

While the days are still sunny and warm, the nights are getting a chill on them. Yep, it’s that time again, fall has arrived. All the trees on my street are exploding with red, yellow, gold and brown! It’s an amazing sight. Fall is a beautiful season, and it stirs in us a feeling of gratitude.

November brings us reminders to stop and say, “thank you,” and to recognize that we have so much to be thankful for. We celebrate our beloved veterans on November 11th, and of course, on November 28th we set aside a day to spend time with family and friends to share a meal and remember the gifts and blessings in our lives.

I am so grateful to be a part of such an amazing organization. Jay Nolan’s commitment and history of giving, serving, and advocating is powerful. To our outstanding staff, I say thank you for your hearts of service. To our generous donors, I say thank you for believing in us. And to the amazing people we have the privilege of supporting, I say thank you for being fantastic teachers!

May this November be one filled with reminders to be grateful and opportunities to bring joy to others.

Thank you for your support and commitment to Jay Nolan and its mission.

Edward Amey, MS

Executive Director
