3 Ways to Make the Holidays Better for Those In Need
The Holiday Season is once again upon us! And once again, Family Support Land will be sponsoring the gathering of toys for Spark of Love and food for the Santa Clarita Food Bank.
For those of you that have no time to purchase gifts or bring in non-perishable food items, we offer you a chance to give a cash donation to Best Friends a leader in the No Kill animal sanctuary movement (and they are in our neighborhood as well as other locations. Best Friends Animal Society Los Angeles is working collaboratively with animal rescue groups, city shelters and passionate individuals who are all dedicated to the mission of making Los Angeles a no-kill city. As part of this mission, Best Friends hosts adoption and fundraising events, runs the Best Friends Pet Adoption & Spay Neuter Center in Mission Hills, and leads the NKLA initiative.
So there are now 3 ways you can make the holidays better for those in need:
- Toys for any age kid for Spark of Love.
- Non-perishable food for the Santa Clarita Food Bank.
- Cash donation for Best Friends.
The boxes for the food and toys will be available in Family Support Land starting November 3rd. Cash donations can be given to Cindy or Carole.
