Jay Nolan Community Services Teams Up With Stags Vs Tigers for Disability Awareness Day

October 24, 2015, the Stags and Tigers will compete in a football game in honor of Disability Awareness Day with support of Jay Nolan Community Services

October 24, 2015 – Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (Stags) and Occidental College (Tigers) will be competing in a football game in recognition of Disability Awareness Day. The Stags and the Tigers will be coming together to honor and promote inclusion and acceptance for families with developmentally disabled children.

October 24 will be about acceptance and inclusion. Families are invited to participate by handing out rosters, helping in concession areas, as well join in a post-game meal with the football players. During half-time, entertainment will be provided by special needs dancers. Members from Jay Nolan Community Services, a non-profit organization that supports children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities, will be in attendance to support Disability Awareness Day.

The game will begin at 1pm at Burns Stadium – 690 N Mills Ave, Claremont 91711. The game is free. Free parking will be located on 6th St. For more information, contact: Cathy Gott (818-425-7763).
