Edward AmeyChief Executive Officer (CEO)

    Edward joined Jay Nolan Community Services in January of 2019 as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).  A Southern California native, born and raised in the San Fernando Valley area, Edward earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from U.C. Santa Barbara in 1992 and a master’s degree in Educational Psychology and Counseling at California State University, Northridge in 1995. He has been in the social services and educational arenas for over 19 years, in addition to having worked in the Information Technology industry for six.  He is an avid traveler with his wife and daughter, and enjoys discovering the history and culture of the places they visit.

    Edward has served in leadership and program administration roles for the Institute for the Redesign of Learning, Children’s Bureau of Southern California, the Lutheran High School Association of Southern California and the California Association of Private Special Education Schools.  Edward has a passion for building inclusive communities, and has a desire to see every individual reach their potential and live a life of purpose.
