Winter Greetings!
While there is a winter chill in the air, there is also the warmth that comes from connecting around the holidays. I love this time of year, because people are thinking of others. People are sharing and giving; kindness abounds. It is from that same spirit, the spirit of serving others that the mission of Jay Nolan Community Services derives its vitality.
With the support of incredible people like you, who have that spirit of selflessness, and share our vision for community, we have been able to help thousands of individuals to determine the trajectory of their own lives for the past forty-five years!
We have had an exciting month here in December, with our first “virtual” fundraiser, Raising Dough; and we had our first ever “virtual” staff holiday party with amazing staff gifts provided by our generous vendors and donors. Thank you!
As my second year as CEO of Jay Nolan comes to a close, I find myself so grateful and humbled by the amazing courage of all the Jay Nolan staff and individuals we have the privilege to support. 2020 has been a unique and challenging year, but we have stepped in, stepped up, and stepped out to ensure we continued to deliver on our mission despite the unprecedented challenges of a global pandemic!
Needs did not go away, in fact, they increased. But, we believe that in a community of diversity and inclusion, where all members have the opportunity to persevere, anything is possible! Jay Nolan Community Services continued to deliver high quality individualized services without interruption.
With 2020 nearing its end, and real challenges still on the horizon, I urge you to make a tax-deductible gift to Jay Nolan Community Services during this season of giving. Please partner with us as we deliver on our promise to the people we serve. We need your continued support to persevere in these times, and make our mission a reality in the lives of people every day.
Thank you for your support and commitment to Jay Nolan Community Services and its mission. May you have a holiday season filled with blessings.
Edward Amey, CEO
