On Thursday, October 7th, 2021, CEO Edward Amey hosted an online town hall to give an update on the Sept. 28th CA public health vaccine mandate for direct care staff.

CA Public Health Mandate:

On September 28, 2021, the California Department of Public Health extended the vaccinate mandate to all direct care workers. All JNCS Employees and IHSS workers are mandated to have the first shot of a one-shot vaccine or the second shot of a two-shot vaccine by November 30, 2021. The health order allows specified exemptions for religious beliefs and qualified medical reasons.
