November 2021 Update from CEO Edward Amey
Greetings with gratitude!
While we have still had some sunny and rather warm days recently, the nights are cooling down.Ā I love looking out at my yard covered in golden leaves, itās just beautiful!Ā All the trees on my street are bursting with red, yellow, gold and brown!Ā I love driving up my street and seeing that sight welcoming me home.Ā Fall is a beautiful season, and it stirs in us a time of reflection on all we have been blessed with.
November is a time that reminds me to stop and say, āthank you.āĀ There really is so much to be thankful for.Ā So many blessings in this time of challenge.Ā Our beloved veterans that we celebrated on November 11th, our staff who have been working so hard and adapting to the many changes in our directives during this time of COVID, the amazing people we support and their remarkable resilience, our beloved donors and the anticipation of a season of giving, and the opportunity to spend some quality time with family.
With a grateful heart, I ask you to remember Jay Nolan Community Services this Giving Tuesday, November 30th!
I am so grateful to be a part of this remarkable organization.Ā Jay Nolanās mission and vision for a community where every member has the opportunity to contribute, grow, and advocate is powerful.Ā To our dedicated staff, I say thank you for your hearts of service.Ā To our generous donors, I say thank you for believing in us.Ā And to the wonderful people we have the privilege of supporting, I say thank you for allowing us to walk with you in your journey!
In these challenging times, may this November be one filled with a sense of gratitude and opportunities to bring joy to others.
Thank you for your support and commitment to Jay Nolan and its mission.
Edward Amey, MS
